Laura is editorial director of Club Oenologique, the sister publication to the IWSC, connecting readers to the joys of the world through the lens of wine, spirits and other interesting drinks. As a journalist and author, Laura has been writing about drink and the culture that surrounds it for over 10 years, documenting key shifts in drinking trends as they happen. She was formerly Time Out London's Drink Editor and in 2017, her first book was published, '111 London Pubs & Bars that you Shouldn't Miss'.
Daniel I'Anson, Commercial Director, Everleaf Drinks
Daniel I'Anson is the Commercial Director of Everleaf, a range of award winning non alcoholic aperitifs inspired by the natural world. He has worked in the drinks industry for over twenty years in a range of senior sales, marketing and brand building roles. His experience covers both large multi-national companies such as LVMH and Pernod Ricard as well as start up businesses in full bootstrap scale-up mode.
Laura Willoughby MBE, Founder, Club Soda
Laura Willoughby MBE is the founder of the world’s largest mindful drinking movement, Club Soda, and the UK’s foremost expert in low and no alcoholic drinks. Club Soda runs the new Low & No Tasting Rooms in Covent Garden, London. Laura was named number 16 in 2023’s Drinks Retailing’s latest Top 100 Most Influential People in Drink, one of the 100 most influential women in hospitality by CODE, and is a Trustee for The Drinks Trust. The Club Soda Tasting Room was Drink Retailing’s Independent Retailer of the year 2023.
Receiving an MBE for services to the community in 2004, Laura’s devotion to Club Soda means hundreds of thousands of people are supported in their journeys to live well by being more mindful about drinking alcohol.
Irem Eren DipWSET, Business Development Director, BevZero
Irem has vast international experience, a multidisciplinary background and varied experience across the wine industry. She has achieved the WSET diploma, holds a masters degree in international business and marketing and is studying to become a Master of Wine. Irem is currently Business Development Director at BevZero, and a no & low alcohol category ambassador. She is also an educator, and judge at several wine competitions. Irem was awarded the Emerging Talent in Wine Award by IWSC in 2022.
Aneesh Bhasin, Co-Founder, Svami
Aneesh is the co-founder of Svami and a commentator on all things wine and spirits. He is also one of GQ's 30 most influential young Indians.
