Event details

Join this free bitesize webinar to learn about the characteristics, cultivation and history of Macabeu – the most planted white grape variety in Catalonia! Widely appreciated for its versatility and Mediterranean character, Macabeu can be found in regions like the Penedès, Camp de Tarragona and Empordà, as well as in Mallorca, La Rioja, Navarra, and even California.

Take just 30 minutes from your day to broaden your knowledge as Xavier Pacheco DipWSET guides us through flavours and styles associated with this variety. We will also explore Macabeu’s resilience and adaptability which make it such a symbol of Mediterranean viticulture, connecting tradition with modern winemaking excellence.

This webinar is held in collaboration with our Silver Partner, INCAVI.
