In 2012, a full pallet of gin and whisky arrived in Michael's flat. Despite thinking that this was nothing more than a side hustle, the 720 bottles were sold within two months.
Michael began converting more people to drink high-quality craft spirits and in 2014 Majestic Wines became Maverick Drinks' first national partner. After making a name for themselves as the go-to UK craft drinks supplier, Morrisons soon came knocking at their door. Maverick now employs a team of 35.
