Use of the App
Wine & Spirit Education Trust built the “WSET Tasting notes – Wine” App as a Free App. This SERVICE is provided by Wine & Spirit Education Trust at no cost and is intended for use as is.
Either you or WSET may terminate your account at any time, for any reason or no reason, without explanation, effective upon sending written notice to the other party either by post or by email to marketing@wsetglobal.com. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your access to any of the App, without notice, for any reason or no reason. We also reserve the right to remove your account information or data from our App and any other records at any time at our sole discretion.
We do not guarantee that our App, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our App for business and operational reasons. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our App through your device are aware of these Terms and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them.
The content on our App is provided for general information only. Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on our App, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on our App is accurate, true, complete or up to date. Using the app and uploading content to the app
By using our app you accept that WSET has access to your completed and saved tasting notes, however this information will be collected anonymously, for the purposes of market research.
We may make changes to our app
We may update and change our App from time to time to reflect changes to our products, our users' needs and our business priorities. We will try to give you reasonable notice of any major changes.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to full name, email address, age, WSET qualifications. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

We may use your email address to send you messages notifying you of important changes to the App or special offers. Push notifications
If you enable push notifications in your device settings, we will send you notifications in accordance with the applicable OS(iOS/Android ) End User Licence Agreement. Push notifications sent to App Users on phone or tablet, may contain different media, such as HTML, images, an app rating.
You reserve the right to turn off such push notifications in your device settings at any time.
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your device internal memory.

While no content in this application is of a sensitive nature, it is not intended for the use of those under the local legal drinking age. For the purposes of this policy a child is defined as any individual under the age of 16.
Use of material on our app
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our App, and in the material published on it, including our registered trademarks. These works are protected by copyright laws. All such rights are reserved.
If you use any part of our App in breach of these Terms, your right to use our App will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
