Online Classroom FAQs

1/ When will I receive my login

 

If you are new to the Online Classroom you will receive a username and temporary password via email. Please be sure to check your junk/spam folder in case it lands there.

Existing users, including anyone that did a course, feedback test or online entry test in the past will use the same login details, so no new details will be issued. Existing users will continue to use their previous login information.

The online classroom area will be available from at least 2 weeks before the start of your course.

2/ I am having trouble logging in  

"I do not remember my previous login information"– you can reset this using the ‘Forgotten your username or password?’ link on the login page.

"I have received my login details but it seems like they do not work" – please be sure that you have copied your login details correctly. If it still does not work, please send an email to onlineclassroom@wset.co.uk.

3/ How long will I have access to my course area?

Full access to any online materials and support will only be provided during the advertised course dates.

Read-only access will be provided after this time up to 1 year following the advertised start date for Level 2-3 and 3 years following the advertised start date for Level 4.

4/ How do I update my personal details?

Please send an email to Student Services at courses@wset.co.uk to request a change of your personal details.

5/ Where will my exam be held?

For students studying at the WSET school in London only:

Level 1, 2, 3 and Diploma Unit 2 - The venue is WSET, 39-45 Bermondsey Street, London SE1 3XF

Diploma Units 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 - The venue details and location will be emailed prior each Diploma exam.

For students studying through another programme provider:

You need to contact your programme provider directly for examination details.

6/ When will I receive my results?

Wines and Spirits

  • Level 1, 2 and Diploma Unit 2 – up to 4 weeks from the date you sat your exam
  • Level 3 – up to 10 weeks from the date you sat your exam
  • Diploma Unit 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 – up to 12 weeks from the date you sat your exam

Sake

  • Level 1 – up to 4 weeks from the date you sat your exam
  • Level 3 – up to 10 weeks from the date you sat your exam

7/ Can I view my exam results online?

Only Diploma students studying at the London School and through the London School’s Online Distance Learning courses can access their results via the Online Classroom. Unfortunately we cannot advise results via email.

Results appear in the Online Classroom 1 working day after they have been published, which can be up to 12 weeks from the date you sat your exam. The results are sent by post to the address you have indicated on your exam paper.
