Event details
Wine webinar
Grown throughout the world, Chenin Blanc is an incredibly robust grape that can grow in the cool climate of the Loire or the hot climate of the Central Valley, California. It can be made in a variety of styles: dry or sweet, oaked or unoaked, still or sparkling, simple or complex.
During this webinar, Chris Martin DipWSET will take you around the world exploring how this exciting grape expresses itself in different climates. He'll look at the characteristics of the grape and the variety of styles that are produced in the main areas of production. He'll also take a look at Chenin Blanc being grown in some areas of the world that you might not even know make wine!
There is no obligation to taste any wine alongside the webinar, but please feel free to join with a glass of wine, even better if it’s a Chenin Blanc.
If you enjoy the webinar, we would love to welcome you onto one of our WSET wine courses, all of which can be studied online from your home. More details here.
