Event details
Wine webinar
Over the past fifty years, Pinot Noir production in Australia has thrived, increasing both in quantity and quality. A combination of exploration of cooler climate regions, a growing understanding of the demands of this fickle variety and greater clonal diversity have all contributed to the range of top quality Pinot Noirs now available.
In 2017 Lydia visited Australia, touring producers in the Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Adelaide Hills, all regions where Pinot is successful. She will discuss what makes these regions, along with Tasmania, suitable for quality Pinot Noir and what she learnt on her numerous visits.
