Patrick McGuigan and Lydia Harrison MW have become something of a cheese and wine pairing dream team, having hosted many brilliant tastings together over the last couple of years.
In this session, timed to coincide with the harvest of grapes from English vineyards, they'll explore the complimentary nature of cheese and wine from a variety of local producers. English artisan cheese production now boasts and incredible array of quality styles while simultaneously English wine continues to grow in production and reputation, encompassing sparkling, white and red vinous delights. Discover why certain pairings work so well together.
Patrick and Lydia will be enjoying three different wines and cheeses, details of which are below so that you can taste alongside if you would like to. Join in with one or all three cheeses and wines, or whatever you have available, and see what you enjoy! Patrick and Lydia will be joined by Mario Olianas fro Olianos Gustos Italiano in Leeds who will talk about the Pecorino and Helen Chesshire of Bolney Estates who will discuss the Pinot Noir.
