Discover and taste four totally different styles of sparkling wine from the comfort of your home with Anjali Douglas DipWSET.

Event details

Extend the bank holiday weekend by joining us for a tasting of top-quality fizz from the comfort of your own home. This virtual tasting will be hosted by Anjali Douglas DipWSET via Zoom. With help from our friends at The Little Fine Wine Company, you’ll be sent four half bottles of premium sparkling wines, and Anjali will guide you through each.

Have you ever wondered why Champagne is more expensive than Prosecco, why you prefer certain sparkling wines, or where you can find great value fizz? Find out at this tasting with added sparkle!

Places must be booked by Thursday 21 April in order to receive the wines in time for the event. See booking T&Cs below for more details.

How will it work?

  • Upon booking you will receive an email requesting delivery details. You'll receive a pack of four different half bottles by post ahead of the tasting.
  • Spaces are limited and we encourage participants to keep their camera and microphone on, ask questions and discuss the wines, to best simulate the feel of our in-person tastings. For this reason, these sessions are not recorded.
  • The tasting will last up to two hours.
  • You will receive printable tasting sheets and mats via email.
  • On the day of the tasting, or shortly before, you will receive an email with a Zoom link to join the events.
  • All you need is some wine glasses, a bottle opener, and a device with an internet connection.
  • Wine samples can be delivered to any mainland UK address, excluding Highlands and Islands. Unfortunately, samples cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland or outside of the UK.
  • The cost is per screen so are you welcome to join the session with a friend or two (if you want to) - there will be plenty of wine to share.

Example wines

  • Adami Prosecco Superiore
  • Roederer Brut Collection 242 Brut Champagne
  • Graham Beck Brut
  • Vietti Moscato d’Asti

About the presenter, Anjali Douglas DipWSET

Anjali Douglas WSET School London educator

Anjali worked in hospitality while studying her A-Levels, never intending to make a career out of it. She then started working in education for museums and galleries, producing events and festivals to attract diverse audiences. She caught the wine bug five years ago and returned to hospitality, starting her new career in a wine bar, before moving on to become responsible for training hospitality staff and sommeliers for a wine distributor. Now, she teaches Levels 1-2 at WSET School London. No matter what industry she is in, Anjali’s aim is to open up conventionally elitist institutions, art forms, and beverages, to more.
