Go back to school this summer and explore wine through the subjects you studied at school. This evening we look at wine and history.

Event details

Unearth some of the most fascinating episodes from wine's 8000-year history.

From the grape's humble beginnings in the foothills of the Caucasus mountains to the world's oldest vines, join Anjali Douglas DipWSET for a globe trotting journey, tasting the wines that have shaped our world.

This is part of our fun and beginner-friendly summer school series. Get a unique perspective on wine as we explore its links to economicsmedia studies and history. The final evening will look at wine and history.

You'll get to taste some premium wines, all with fascinating stories that will bring the subjects to life.

At the end of each session guests can take part in a quiz to test their knowledge. Will you pass with flying colours? (Remember, no prior knowledge is needed!)
