Walk amongst the vines in Sussex and taste wine with the people who make it at award-winning producers Artelium and Everflhyt.

Event details

The English wine revolution is no secret. But with new vineyards and wineries popping up every year, it can be tricky to keep track of the exciting wine being produced in the UK.

Join us for a day of tours and tastings at Artelium Wine Estate and Everflyht, two recently established and multi-award winning English vineyards based in Sussex. You'll be treated to a private tour and tasting at both producers along with the chance to stroll through the vineyards in the summer sun (we hope!). Spaces are strictly limited, so that you have plenty of opportunity to chat with the producers and ask any and all of your burning questions on English wine.

About Artelium Wine Estate

Artelium Wine Estate is the owned and run by wife-and-husband team Julie Bretland and Mark Collins who planted vineyards in 2018 after being inspired by their English wine served at their wedding.

Today, Artelium is made up of 45 acres (18 hectares) of vines across East and West Sussex and the pair have partnered with some of English wine's biggest names like Dermot Sugrue and Owen Elias to produce their range of sharply-branded sparkling and still wines.

About Everflyht

A mere 10 minute drive from Artelium is Everflyht, another young entrant to English wine. This 24-acre (10 hectare) vineyard established in 2016 by Sam and Ben Ellis who are producing refreshing, delicate and complex sparkling wine.

The vines grow under the watchful eye of Luke Spadling (formerly of Ridgeview) with their latest releases produced in collaboration with Félix Gabillet (Hambledon). Everflyht is not usually open to the public so this is a rare opportunity to see the estate!
