Event details
Join us for our first beer tasting at WSET School London, following the recent launch of the WSET Level 1 and Level 2 Awards in Beer. If you'd like to enjoy a range of beers and learn the basics before committing to one of the qualifications, this introductory tasting is perfect for you.
Led by beer educator Natalya Watson, over the course of the evening you’ll learn about beer’s ancient origins, acquaint yourself with a variety of modern styles of beer, learn the basics of beer brewing, and discuss how to pair beer with food.
You’ll have plenty of chance to ask our expert all your burning beer questions, whether you want to know the difference between lager and ale or the science behind pouring the perfect pint of Guinness!

About the presenter, Natalya Watson
Natalya is an award-winning beer educator passionate about sharing her knowledge of beer with others because she believes that beer is simply too delicious to remain undiscovered.
Her beer career began behind the bar at Mother Kelly's in Bethnal Green, then she took on the role of UK marketing manager for Duvel Moortgat before setting up her own business dedicated to beer education for which she was named 'Training Professional of the Year' at the British Institute of Innkeeping’s 2022 National Innovation in Training Awards.
She is also the author of Beer: Taste the Evolution in 50 Styles (Kyle Books, 2020) and host of the 'Beer with Nat' podcast.
In September 2023, Natalya joined WSET as Business Development Manager to support the launch of the organisation’s new beer qualifications within Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
