Join educator and gin-lover Ed Wicks DipWSET for an exploration of all things gin from G&Ts to martinis.

Event details

The popularity of gin is seemingly unfaltering, but with an ever-growing number of styles and flavours to choose from, it can be difficult to know which bottle to select for your drink.

Start the evening with Ed's perfect martini before proceeding to a tasting of gins from six different distilleries mixed and matched with a range of tonics.

Along the way you'll find out about the diverse range of botanicals that go into the production of this wonderful spirit, from the traditional to the innovative, as well as learn how to craft the perfect G&T for friends and family (or yourself!).

Enjoy your drinks with a selection of bougie crisps hand-selected by Ed.

About the presenter, Ed Wicks DipWSET

A man wearing glasses and holding a glass of red wine

Ed has been working in the drinks business in some form since he turned 18 years old. A long stint as a cocktail bartender laid the foundation for his love of spirits. It was during this time he decided to study the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits qualification, which also ignited his passion for wine. Within a few busy years, he had completed both the Level 3 and Diploma. He was awarded the Porter & Laker Scholarship prize at Level 3 and both the Louis Jadot and Yvonne May Wine Australia Scholarship prizes at Diploma. He is an enthusiastic champion of sweet wines and is always trying to make new converts to the style. Read our Q&A with Ed
