Since its inception, Bourbon whiskey has been synonymous with Kentucky, but a growing number of distillers around the United States are challenging the status quo and creating new regional styles of Bourbon.
Join Eric Zandona to learn the fundamentals of what makes Kentucky Bourbon so iconic, discover the many forgotten regional styles of Bourbon, and explore how 21st century distillers across the country are using their local terroir to breathe new life into old ideas.
Guests will also receive a signed copy of Eric’s newest book, The Atlas of Bourbon and American Whiskey, and enjoy a welcome cocktail.

About the presenter, Eric Zandona
Over the past decade Eric Zandona has worked to educate and spread awareness of well-crafted spirits, through EZdrinking, public presentations, tasting events, articles, books, judging in spirit competitions, and as the director of the American Distilling Institute’s International Spirits Competition.
In 2018, Eric was a shortlist nominee for the International Wine and Spirits Competition's Spirits Communicator of the Year Award.
He is a published author. His most recent books, The Bourbon Bible, and The Tequila Dictionary were both selected by the Tales of the Cocktail Awards Committee as Top 10 Nominees for Best New Book on Drinks Culture, History or Spirits. In addition, Eric consults to help clients develop and bring new spirits to market, providing product feedback, and information about trends in the industry.
Booking terms and conditions
Payment in full must be made at the time of booking and places are not confirmed until payment has been received. Unfortunately we cannot take provisional bookings.
Cancellations and transfers
- Cancellations and transfers can be made up to two weeks before the event.
- Cancellations within 10 working days are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event.
- If you need to change a name on the booking, please give us as much notice as possible.
- WSET School London reserves the right to cancel an event. If necessary, a full refund or transfer will be offered.
