Join two expert speakers, Javier Domenq and Mike Best MW at this masterclass exploring the boutique Sherry producer Fernando de Castilla. Together, Javier and Mike will guide you through the production processes behind 8 distinct styles, including the bodega's famed 'Antique' range of single-solera sherries.
You'll explore wines from dry to sweet, including both biologically and oxidatively aged examples. You'll taste these incredible wines alongside a selection of snacks from Brindisa. A must-attend for the sherry-curious and the sherry geeks!

About the presenters, Mike Best MW and Javier Domenq
Mike Best works for Boutinot, a distributor with a global portfolio. Mike works in the buying team and is responsible for a number of countries including Spain. He passed the WSET Diploma in 2014 and became a Master of Wine in August 2020.
The name Domecq is a familiar and longstanding one amongst Jerezanos. Javier Domecq of the Domecq dynasty, now works with boutique Sherry Boedega Fernando de Castilla. His knowledge and enthusiasm about these wines is captivating and his ability to bring the wines and culture of Jerez to life is remarkable.

Cancellations and transfers
- Cancellations and transfers can be made up to two weeks before the event.
- Cancellations within 10 working days are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another event.
- If you need to change a name on the booking, please give us as much notice as possible.
- WSET School London reserves the right to cancel an event. If necessary, a full refund or transfer will be offered.
