Join Diego Ventura to explore the hidden treasures and lesser-known styles of Portugal's rich winemaking scene.
Event details
The fortified wines of Portugal need no introduction, but it is the still, unfortified wines that remain somewhat of a ‘sleeper hit’. These wines can offer outstanding quality, diversity and value for money (for now!).
In this masterclass, wine educator Diego Ventura will explore eight wines of Portugal, uncovering lesser-known regions and styles that often remain concealed from the global wine stage.
You will discover the Portuguese producers who have a decidedly modern approach – nurturing old vines and single-estate vineyards to make elegant whites and structured reds from indigenous varieties across the country.
Cheese and charcuterie included.
