Join our resident foodie and drinks expert Ed Wicks DipWSET for this ultimate pairing showdown: cheese or cake - which will win?

Event details

Are festive drinks best paired with a cheeseboard or dessert? Find out at this sensory showdown, where food and drinks expert Ed Wicks DipWSET will take on this ultimate pairing challenge.

Ed has selected six different drinks – from Piedmontese sparkling wine to premium Venezuelan rum -  and has carefully chosen one cheese and something sweet to taste alongside them. Try them both and decide which you prefer!

Ed will guide you through the ins and outs of food and drink pairing, and share the stories behind some of these classic and under-the-radar drinks, cakes and cheeses.

Discover your new go-to combinations for holiday gatherings, whether you're crafting a dessert spread or curating the ultimate cheeseboard.

Prepare to tantalise your taste buds and settle the cheese vs cake debate once and for all!

The cheeses will come from London’s finest cheese retailer, La Fromagerie.
