Wine expert Kelli White joins us from across the pond to celebrate the launch of her new book, Wine Confident.

Event details

The same things that make wine thrilling – its breadth of regions, varieties, vintages and languages can also make it intimidating. Join expert Kelli White for an evening demystifying this complex world via her new book, Wine Confident.

In the book, Kelli takes the anxiety out of wine descriptions, debunks the myths around restaurant choices, tells the truth about sommeliers (she’s been there, she is one!) and teaches us how to order wine like a pro.

For Kelli, wine really matters – not just as a fine-dining accompaniment or to relax your shoulders at the end of a long day, but as a clue to the character of our natural world.

Over the evening, Kelli will guide attendees through some key messages from her book while tasting a selection of wines that illuminate her points.

She will look at taste and smell, explained in her own innovative way, as well as the importance of language and how it connects to flavour.

Kelli will also guide you through collecting and will look at some of the key movements in the wine world today, including understanding organic, biodynamic, regenerative and sustainable production in our warming world.

Join her at this one of a kind event for some real words of wine wisdom.

A copy of Wine Confident is included with every ticket.
