Join Italian wine specialist Jason Millar DipWSET for a masterclass exploring the volcanic region of Etna.
Event details
In just thirty years, Etna has transformed from a curiosity to one of Italy's most exciting wine regions. Here, vines thrive on the unique volcanic soils between lava flows, producing crisp, intense white wines from Carricante and some of Italy’s most elegant reds from the local Nerello Mascalese.
This tasting will take you from the verdant southern slopes of the volcano to the high-altitude eastern vineyards around Milo, and then to the north, exploring some of the major 21st century producers who have put Etna on the map.
You’ll enjoy these wines alongside a selection of Italian cheeses from La Fromagerie.
