Discover the iconic and hidden treasures of Piemonte's wines with Nina Cerullo DipWSET - from world-class classics to rising stars.
Event details
Sitting in Italy’s Northwestern corner, Piemonte is renowned as the birthplace of some of the country’s most celebrated wine DOCGs, including Barolo, Barbaresco, and Gavi. But beyond these iconic names lies a treasure trove of exceptional wines produced from lesser-known grape varieties such as Dolcetto and Barbera.
Join Nina Cerullo DipWSET as she journeys to the "foot of the mountains" to explore the range of styles this region offers.
You will taste some of Piemonte's finest wines, explore how they evolve over time, and discover the region's hidden gems from less familar appellations and grape varieties that are quickly gaining cult status among wine enthusiasts.
We will provide some fine Italian cheese and charcuterie from Crouch's in Borough Market to taste alongside the wines.
This tasting is part 1 of Nina's Italian series. The session can be booked individually, or you can save £55 by booking the series.
