Taste the hidden gems and classic wines from Veneto, Alto Adige and Friuli with Nina Cerullo DipWSET.
Event details
The North East of Italy often gets overlooked in discussions of Italian fine wine. While the region produces a huge amount of Prosecco DOC and high volumes of simpler whites and reds, this area is also home to some of the country's most distinctive and complex wines that are produced by artisan winemakers using a range of traditional and innovative methods. From elegant classics such as Soave Classico and Valpolicella, to aromatic Alpine whites and sweet, complex Reciotos, this tasting will explore the depth and diversity of the wines from Italy's northeastern corner, showcasing their distinctive character and craftsmanship.
We will provide some fine Italian cheese and charcuterie from Crouch's in Borough Market to taste alongside the wines.
This tasting is part 2 of Nina's Italian series. The session can be booked individually, or you can save £55 by booking the series.
