Embark on a journey through some of the Languedoc's most sought after red wine appellations from classics like Minervois and Corbières to up-and-coming stars like Pic St Loup and Terrasses du Larzac.
Event details
The warm Mediterranean climate of the Languedoc is ideal for making red wines. Here, heat-loving Grenache is at its best, well supported by Syrah and Mourvèdre. It is also home to the mercurial Carignan, once the work horse of the Languedoc and still playing an important role today.
In this tasting, Richard Lane DipWSET will explore some of Languedoc's key red wine appellations including Minervois and Corbières as well as rising stars such as Pic St Loup and Terrasses du Larzac. One or two Bordeaux grape varieties may make an appearance as well as the iconic Mas de Daumas Gassac, a producer dubbed, "the first growth of the Languedoc".
Each session will have a selection of snacks from France and beyond to enjoy alongisde the wines.
Save £35 by booking all four sessions for £180.
