Explore the rocky vineyards of France's extreme southern fringe and taste the extraordinary variety of wines produced here from delicate whites to perfumed fortified wines.

Event details

The impossibly rocky foothills of the Pyrenees may not be the first place you'd expect vines to flourish but, against the odds, they cling on to make one-of-a kind wines. This ancient wine region, often forgotten, on France's southern most fringe, produces wine is incredible depth, complexity and concentration.

In our final instalment of the South of France series, join Sam Povey on a trek through the gnarled vineyards of the Roussillon. Along the way, we'll taste stoney whites made from Macabeu, a full range of reds from the delicate to the muscular, and even the surprisingly complex ancestors of the much maligned Vin Doux Naturels.

Each session will have a selection of snacks from France and beyond to enjoy alongside the wines.

Save £35 by booking all four sessions for £180.
