Journey from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean sea to the rocky foothills of the Pyrenees for an introduction to the Languedoc.

Event details

Join Sam Povey DipWSET for an introduction to the Languedoc, sampling styles from the west of the region.

This session will take you through some of the Languedoc's oldest appellations including the remote hills of Limoux where history's first sparkling wines were produced, down to windswept Corbières and across to sunbeaten La Clape.

Along the way, you'll discover more of the Languedoc's long and turbulent history, its challenging climatic conditions, and the exciting innovation taking place in this vast winegrowing region.

Enjoy the wines alongside a selection of cheeses and snacks from the South of France.
