We are delighted to announce that, as the next step on our digital journey, we will be making all our textbooks and study guides available in an eBook format over the course of the 2020-21 academic year.
The first eBooks in English for Levels 1-4 in Wines, Spirits and Sake will be launched on Monday 20th July. This development will enable students to access course materials on their laptops, tablets and smartphones, giving them the flexibility to study when and where they want for all WSET online and classroom-based courses.
eBooks in other languages will be released in stages:
- Autumn 2020; eBooks in selected European Languages (French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Greek) for Levels 1-3 in Wines, Spirits and Sake.
- Early 2021; selected Asian languages – products to be confirmed later in 2020 but the focus will be on Levels 2 and 3 in Wines.
The eBook format allows students to read course materials offline on their portable devices and also benefits their study technique by enabling them to highlight text, add comments, and search for terms.
Students will be able to access the new eBooks via web browsers or WSET eBook apps for iOS and Android devices which can be downloaded from app stores from Monday 20th July. Students for Level 1 and 2 Awards will have a year’s access to eBooks, for Level 3 Awards two years’ access, and for the Level 4 Diploma three years’ access.
Traditional printed copies of WSET Level 2 and Level 3 textbooks will still be available for students to purchase from our online shop.
